Three swimmers shine at the London Winter Regionals

Three LBHSC swimmers had a very successful London Winter Regional Open Age Group (11+) meet at the London Aquatics Centre.

First up was the 200m breaststroke, where one swimmer took 8.11 seconds off his personal best, moving from 41st seed to 33rd of the 46 swimmers fast enough to qualify. On Sunday he took another 2.15 seconds off his 50m breaststroke best, finishing 55th from 86th seed.

In the 50m breaststroke, another of our swimmers swam a lifetime best, moving from 55th seed to 30th out of 79 of the fastest breaststrokers in London. Our third swimmer raced the 50m backstroke, 50m freestyle and 100m backstroke – and won all three, improving on her heat times in every final.

All three performed well off the back of an intensive week at swim camp. Well done – proof that hard work, dedication and passion lead to fantastic performances.
