Community Programmes

Opening the water to more of Hounslow.

Funded programmes that give more people access to swimming: young people, families and adults who might otherwise miss out. Core to who we are, not an add-on.

Swim Safe, Stay Safe

Hanworth Leisure Centre, Saturdays 1:30–4pm; Isleworth Leisure Centre, Sunday afternoons; Oaklands School, Tuesdays 4:30–6:30pm and Wednesdays 4:30–5:30pm. Children already having lessons with another provider are not eligible. Places are limited. Funded by The Children's Alliance and Inspire Hounslow.

Young Carers

Swimming skills sessions for young people with a cared-for family member living with them. Ages 10–18, or up to 25 for SEND swimmers. Hanworth Leisure Centre, Saturdays 4:15–5:15pm. Free, funded by the Hounslow Thriving Communities Fund. Register via the club's QR code or link.

SEND Swimming

Deaf and Blind Swimming Sessions

Free swimming lessons in small classes for deaf and blind children aged 5 to 16. Wednesdays, sessions between 4:30 and 6:30pm at Oaklands School. Email enquiries@lbhsc.org.uk to find out more.
